And right on time...

...the Federal Court of Appeal has dismissed an appeal by the Harper regime against an earlier judgement holding that the government must seek Omar Khadr's release from Guantanamo:

The Federal Court of Appeal ruled today that the government offered no compelling reasons why it should not comply with an order to request that Khadr, 22, be repatriated to Canada.

"There is no legal or factual foundation upon which this Court can conclude that the decision not to request Mr. Khadr's repatriation is justified," the court ruled.

Right on the heels of the court judgement ordering Abousfian Abdelrazik's return, and Suaad Hagi Mohamud's DNA test. What a beige clusterf**k. One almost feels sympathy for this sorry gang of racists, but I'm struggling to contain my emotions, as usual.
