G-20: Who is this man?

Ignore the YouTube title: we don't know his identity or whether he is a police officer. But if you do know who he is, get in touch with A Creative Revolution.

Note the woman in the crowd shouting "This isn't helping us." No kidding.

Alison,

When he's identified he can be charged with vandalism or whatever. If he's a cop... Well that will be very interesting. Other video of the incident shows police in the area at the time. Don't tell me they couldn't arrest this guy and the others damaging the cruiser too. The other goofs in the video are fooling around making noise. He instigates the destruction by jumping up on the trunk then kicking out the back window. Dr. D, Pale at A Creative Revolution, and others are providing assistance to the justice system.

I hope this man is swiftly brought to justice, especially if he is a police provocateur. Maybe Chief Blair, with all his resources might have a comment. Maybe Toronto police should have posted this video in hopes of catching the criminal.

If he is a provocateur he's guilty of more than the vandalism. His is an assault on democracy and although it may be a bit out of fashion to say so I think a police provocateur in this circumstance is treasonous.

In the meantime I hope he is identified soon.

Also, this clip clearly demonstrates a situation that was completely out of control. Two or three goons smashing police cars. 90% of the people on the street mostly onlookers. A bunch of protesters actually pleading with the hoodlums to stop.

The decline of the East side blues scene was disheartening, but, it also gave rise
to the need for a fresh start, which came in the form of the next blues-only venue, Antone's, founded by the late Clifford Antone, during the summer of 1975.
