Local fascism [updated]

The good burghers of Clarington continue their assault on the Jaworski family, complete with a bullying by-law thug. Talk about a shakedown. Read it and weep.

So far, local fascism isn't working out so well for the Jaworskis. The Gauleiter mayor of Clarington is now suggesting that the Jaworskis "beg for forgiveness" from the by-law thug mentioned above. Here we have it: the yokel version of Darkness at Noon.
