In a small village in Romania called Voinesti, the people voted for a mayor this past Monday. The incumbent was a member of the National Liberal Party, and had been the mayor for 18 years. His challenger, from the Social Democratic Party, lost the election--even though the incumbent died before the election took place."I know he died but I don't want change," one resident told Romanian TV.
