Excuse Our Dust...

Dear folks,

I'm helping Dr. Dawg trying to wrest his comments back from Echo, after their subscription fiasco. This may involve some template changes and some confusion in the short term, but will hopefully pay off. Until then, we apologize for any inconvenience. Just so you know.

    I recently updated to the new blogger templates after 5 years of minimal to no changes over at Rusty Idols.  It was surprisingly traumatic, but oddly liberating.  Like going through a bookshelf and selecting books to give away to clear space.

    "reatful?" Yup, that about sums up this transitional look. :)

    The place will have the original look and feel once we get the Echo comments moved--unsurprisingly they make this very difficult--and we arrive in the promised land of Moveable Type.

    BTW, its there any way to NOT see all that Twitter stuff? I'm sure its important to someone, but when I jump into a thread with a decent sized comment count, but 90% are "comments" that want me to scoot on over to the Twit, its irritating as hell.

    Oh, and a spelchek would be nize two...
